Lynette Corona, owner and founder of Island Paradise Weddings, established her business in 2007 but is no stranger to the public when planning and executing events.
Originally from the Bay Area in California, she has been working within many different industries however all with the same goals - customer service.
She came to Oahu in 1999 and has made Oahu her home for her and her family.
She has gained a lot of creative ideas and resources all over the island while working with one of the top full service catering companies on the island.

"When I started working for the company I had experience in sales and a very different look on event planning. I had planned smaller luncheons back home but never thought I would come to love working one on one with clients on spectacular events. I gained a lot of strengths, creative ideas, knowledge of menu and outdoor planning and most of all patience.
I owe most of my knowledge and skills to the owners and the wonderful staff that I worked with for 5 years. Without their help, ideas, opinions and patience I wouldn't be where I am today. To the company and all the staff who worked with me on all my events thank you so much.
I have created special events from BBQ's, Corporate functions, Birthday and Anniversaries, and most of all Weddings.
I enjoyed working on weddings the most because of the creative ideas, the memorable day, the challenges and most of all making the clients happy".
She has done events at a wide variety of locations on Oahu from hotels, private homes and vacation rentals, Golf courses and large outdoor venues from a party of 2 to the planning stage of 5000. Going to school to become a certified wedding planner to winning best boothe awards 3 shows in a row for creativity for the company she worked for, you can say she has a passion for creating that special memorable day.
